Alistair is one of Scotland’s most prolific and popular historians and with Andrew Crummy, he helped create the Great Tapestry of Scotland. It has been seen – and loved – by hundreds of thousands of people, and deeply moved by their reaction, he will once again work with Andrew to make another tapestry.
Andrew is the designer of many tapestries including The Great Tapestry of Scotland. These Community Art projects aim to involved as many people as possible through involving through creativity, creating a clear drawn narrative that involves a diverse range of themes and stories, from the personal to the epic.
Gillian has been involved in community art for over 15 years. She helped co-ordinate the Battle of Prestonpans Tapestry, The Great Tapestry of Scotland and The Scottish Diaspora Tapestry.
